For designs with narrow spot like the flippers of this turtle, use wire mesh to add additional strength to the cement.
Foam insulation is cut out to form a re usable mold. Set a small angle on the jig saw blade so the mold has funnel shaped walls. This allows the concrete to fall free from the mold after the stepping stone is dry.
Custom Stepping Stones
Create a custom cement stepping stone path. Samples of our nautical stepping stones are shown but the same process can be used for any design or themed pathway.
Then just fill each mold with cement or concrete. The cement can be colored as desired. After a few hours design lines can be added by pressing into or scrapping the still moist material.

After a full 24 hours the stepping stones can be removed from the molds. Sharp edges can be removed with a disc grinder.
