How to make Board and Batten walls from DIYeasycrafts Enhance almost any wall or hallway with Board and Batten. This is an easy DIY project. We used only basic tools along with 1x4 pine, 5/8x6 trimpack and 9/16x 2 1/4 casing material to beautify this hallway. This project took a half day and then we came back and sanded and painted after the caulk had dried. Total cost was under $200.
